A young man stands on a grassy knoll strewn with flowers. He gazes rapturously at the gold coin he holds in front of him. He is a harbinger of opportunity, perhaps a young King Midas in the making, as the sky around him is illumined in gold. In the distance is farmland being readied for seeding, a lush forest of trees and blue mountains. He himself wears the colors of vitality, green and red. Perhaps a young person will come into your life this week offering an opportunity, a possibility, some new business venture. Or perhaps a seed of new possibility will grow within you. Take notice. Perhaps you will decide to plant it and watch your garden grow.

Weekly Tarot Card – Ace of Pentacles
A hand appears out of a puffy cloud offering a bright golden coin with a star etched in the center. Energetic rays of white light rain down on a beautiful verdant landscape of white flowers with a path heading towards a flowery bower and blue mountains in the distance. This week keep a lookout for a new opportunity perhaps in business and finance. A seed of potential will appear which will offer the chance to grow a green pasture. Don’t be too literal on how this may manifest. Just keep your nose in the air so you can sniff out the scent of opportunity and capitalize on it should that be your fancy.
Weekly Tarot Card – Four of Pentacles Reversed
What a perfect card to pull for the week ushering in Christmas and the end of 2018. Normally we see this kingly fellow sitting in front of his kingdom holding down his material possessions. He is the picture of stability, his resources under his feet. in his hands and crowning his crown. However upside down he looks a little panicked and the stability and foresight has turned into grabbing and miserliness. When I pulled the card and saw this picture, the first thing I did was go to my favorite charity and give a gift. I hope you’ll do the same. Money is good, stability is important, and shepherding one’s resources is a necessary part of life. BUT as that famous sage Dolly Levi of Thornton Wilder’s classic play, “The Matchmaker” (basis for the well-known musical “Hello Dolly”) says, “Money, pardon the expression, is like manure. It’s not worth a thing unless it’s spread around, encouraging young things to grow.” Money, possessions, resources, love–it’s all good to spread around.
Weekly Tarot Card – Two of Pentacles Reversed
Things are a bit topsy turvy right now with all that’s going on in your life. It’s a bit much to keep up with, quite frankly, so rather than letting some potentially important balls drop, why not “chillax”, scale back, maybe ask a friend to help out. (Nannies have to make a living too, you know.) There’s nothing wrong with admitting you’ve bitten off more than you can chew. Prioritize what’s most important and make a list from 1-10. Then set about accomplishing them and checking them off one by one. It might take a bit longer, but you’ll feel so much better and rest easier. Balance is everything.
Weekly Tarot Card – Seven of Pentacles Reversed
You’ve worked long and hard and accomplished much over time. As you take a break and look over your “crop,” you might wonder if it was all worth it? Because soon it will be time to ponder the next step and it will be up to you to decide whether to continue along the road you’ve been traveling or perhaps branch off into a different direction. Seven is the number of evaluation and although the suit is pentacles and has everything to do with earth and physical matter, the suggestion is that now is the time to connect within and listen to the messages of your inner voice. One thing is clear–you are a good planner and have a strong will and determination. You can accomplish anything you put your mind, heart and soul to. We can’t wait to see what your next hurrah will be!
