A young man clad in workman’s clothing leans on his hoe and looks wistfully upon his abundant crop resplendent with gold coins. Seven is a highly spiritual number, considered by many to be the bridge between the troubles of six and the solutions of eight. Pentacles is about as earthy and material-minded as you can get. We feel the fellow here is meditating and perhaps enjoying the results of his diligent labor. He takes a moment to appreciate his bounty. You may recall that last week’s card, the reversed Page of Pentacles, seemed to suggest a delay in new opportunities with a nod to giving attention to projects already in motion. This week we pause to assess and evaluate the accomplishments before we plot our way forward.
