Here we have a young fellow sitting in meditation under a tree (which reminds us of another young fellow ages ago who sat under a tree to receive enlightenment). The leaves of the tree seem to be pointing down to where he sits in a posture of defiance. His arms are not in the customary openness we are used to seeing in meditators. They are folded across his chest as if to protect his heart from opening. He gazes down and whether or not he is in deep meditation, we feel he does not “see” the divine hand shrouded in the heavenly clouds which offers him a beautiful golden cup. Where are your wishes coming from? Are they divinely inspired? Do you believe that goodness is yours? Are you opening yourself to the goodness which is yours? Or do you hold yourself in doubt and fear, resisting to look upwards in yourself? There is much sorrow and devastation in the world right now. We are called more strongly to hold ourselves in the light and like this young man relax our arms, open our heart path; perhaps we will witness and take hold of the offered cup and drink its goodness. And would this usher in a life of abundance where cups abound? For we can see there are three others standing in readiness for acceptance and exaltation.

Weekly Tarot Card – Page of Pentacles Reversed
Although opportunities might be stagnant this week, like that brilliant young person who promised to show up with a new way to work your computer has gone missing, don’t despair. There’s a lot of illumination despite the reversal. Perhaps the time is better spent working on projects that are already in flow. Or perhaps it is necessary to dig into what’s holding you back from receiving the abundance that is yours. New offerings are around, just not coming into view just yet. Keep an open mind and look for the green of abundance and the light of creativity.
Weekly Tarot Card – Five of Pentacles
What a dismal scene. A man and a woman are walking in a snowstorm. His legs are bandaged and he uses crutches. She is barefoot in the snow wrapped in a cloak. Her gaze is downcast, he looks up to the heavens as if to say, “Why me?” Each despairs of their condition which is abject poverty. So engrossed in their unhappy and hopeless situation are they that neither notices the bright lights coming from the pentacles (gold coins) depicted in the stained glass windows in the church to their left. It is a cautionary tale, one that messages the mistake of too much attention to the problem rather than solution. If we keep our heads buried in the circumstances of our despair we will miss the signs of hope and help. Look to the light…always.
Weekly Tarot Card – The Moon
In the picture the man in the moon is reflected and visible by the light of the sun. In fact both sources of light for the planet earth seem inextricably linked. We have a wolf and dog barking at the moon and a crayfish crawling out of the waters seemingly pulled by the light of the moon. What messages does the moon have for us? What are we being called to look into? The night is dark and the path leads to the mountains in the distance. Perhaps we are to look into our shadow side and address the unconscious with its uncomfortable information. The promise is to illuminate what is holding us back. So we can move forward.

Isn’t she lovely this blonde goddess pouring water? She is the hope we long for, the inspiration that follows the long dark night. Eight stars including one golden magnificent bright light illuminate this peaceful scene of refreshment and solace.
Did you know we are all made of stardust? Therefore we all have the capacity to endure the troubles and find ourselves on the other side with grace and gratitude. This is a perfect place to be as we celebrate the upcoming holidays of light and rebirth with messages of hope and inspiration for all. Namaste.
