Weekly Tarot Card – Seven of Cups

The darkened figure is looking upon seven golden chalices appearing out of the clouds. There is chilling aspect here, perhaps a warning regarding desires and illusions. Be careful what you wish for…or all that glitters is not gold. The illusory aspect of wishful thinking must be addressed as the ego leaps to a quenching of emotional needs. Look carefully upon your wishes and the options that come your way. There are snakes, sophists, phantoms, towers, jewels, victories and dragons. Know that all this can disappear like the cloudy bed upon which they appear. Be still in the silence and listen to your inner voice. Truth is there.

Weekly Tarot Card – Justice Reversed

IMG_2553They say that Justice is blind and that the scales she holds will determine the verdict. Truth and fairness and clear thinking are the keys. But here the sword is pointed downwards and surely the scales will not hold whatever is placed on them to be weighed as they too are upside down. Is this a call to look inwards and face a personal burden of responsibility? Is there a situation that needs mending? Before we can solve the injustice of the world we must come clean with whatever offenses might be buried within our psyche. Let’s face the music, perhaps ask for forgiveness and allow justice to find its rightful upright position.

Weekly Tarot Card – Ace of Swords

IMG_2172 2A hand of God reaches out of the clouds holding a double-edged sword upright. Atop the sword is a crown with a victory wreath. This week clear-thinking wins the day. Your ability to see through the fog of opinions, hearsay, bias, and view the true reality of situations, people, places, things, for how they really are, without emotion or attachment or the neediness of ego, will bring forth ideas that spring from your authentic self. Stay with the plan and don’t get sucked into other people’s agendas. We each have our own journey. Let yours be one of your own making.

Weekly Tarot Card – Queen of Swords

IMG_1814A woman of authority comes into your life this week. She is blunt, she is fair, her truth cuts like a knife but she is always for the good and her emblems include butterflies, angels and clouds (the stuff of ideas and thoughts). You might not like what you hear but try to listen with an open heart and be grateful that someone is willing to risk discomfort for telling you the truth. Perhaps this queen is you. If so, remember the action of your outstretched left hand which adds mercy to the resolute judgement of the upright sword.
