Weekly Tarot Card – Queen of Swords

IMG_1814A woman of authority comes into your life this week. She is blunt, she is fair, her truth cuts like a knife but she is always for the good and her emblems include butterflies, angels and clouds (the stuff of ideas and thoughts). You might not like what you hear but try to listen with an open heart and be grateful that someone is willing to risk discomfort for telling you the truth. Perhaps this queen is you. If so, remember the action of your outstretched left hand which adds mercy to the resolute judgement of the upright sword.

Weekly Tarot Card – Seven of Pentacles

IMG_1631A young man clad in workman’s clothing leans on his hoe and looks wistfully upon his abundant crop resplendent with gold coins. Seven is a highly spiritual number, considered by many to be the bridge between the troubles of six and the solutions of eight. Pentacles is about as earthy and material-minded as you can get. We feel the fellow here is meditating and perhaps enjoying the results of his diligent labor. He takes a moment to appreciate his bounty. You may recall that last week’s card, the reversed Page of Pentacles, seemed to suggest a delay in new opportunities with a nod to giving attention to projects already in motion. This week we pause to assess and evaluate the accomplishments before we plot our way forward.

Weekly Tarot Card – Page of Pentacles Reversed

Page of Pentacles RxAlthough opportunities might be stagnant this week, like that brilliant young person who promised to show up with a new way to work your computer has gone missing, don’t despair. There’s a lot of illumination despite the reversal. Perhaps the time is better spent working on projects that are already in flow. Or perhaps it is necessary to dig into what’s holding you back from receiving the abundance that is yours. New offerings are around, just not coming into view just yet. Keep an open mind and look for the green of abundance and the light of creativity.

Weekly Tarot Card – Queen of Wands Reversed

IMG_1071This week may be a quiet week for you socially. You’re content to stay at home, read a book, maybe do some meditation to connect to your inner self. The queen of wands, normally independent, courageous and passionate, is reversed, upside down so the energies are internalized. It’s not so much about being an extrovert as it is stoking the fires from within. The mischievous black cat who usually sits at the foot of the queen now takes center stage by popping into the picture at top. Who can ever tell what lies ahead. Be receptive to magic at this time.

Weekly Tarot Card – The Empress

IMG_0202Your creative juices are flowing and the seeds you have sown are ready for harvest. Drawing on the energy of the Empress who sits on her luxurious divan in the midst of a wheat field you trust in your nurturing and loving spirit that embraces the life-force found in everything. As you are in tune with your divinity and the positive energy of source within you can’t help but create in a positive flow. Honor nature, beauty and the impulse to create. This is the spirit of the times.
