Weekly Tarot Card – Four of Wands

Just in time for Christmas week, the Four of Wands comes in with festive celebration. The castle is decked out with fruits and greenery, four wands are standing in the foreground at the ready for a welcoming home ceremony and a couple cheers and raises their bouquets in a toast. There is stability, harmony, the warmth of the hearth and illumination all around. Brings to mind the Shakespeare verse from A Midsummer Night’s Dream: “Joy, gentle friends! joy and fresh days of love Accompany your hearts!”

Weekly Tarot Card – Six of Cups

Does your life need some sweetness? A gift of white flowers perhaps? Cups in tarot are all about the emotions, feelings, the free flow of the open heart. The number six signifies harmony, healing, family. In this picture we see an older boy giving a golden cup with a white flower to a smaller, we presume younger, girl. Looks like an older brother and his younger sister to me. The farm house in the background is perhaps the childhood home. We think back to a time when all was gentle and tender. The nostalgia of the past brings with it a rosy tint. Perhaps this is what’s needed for this week.

Weekly Tarot Card – Four of Wands

IMG_2341Homecoming! MarriageĀ Celebration! Joy! Plans have found a harmonious completion and it is party time! How reassuring it is to know that the seeds we have sown, the plans we have hatched, are beginning to bear fruit. The four wands in the foreground are stable posts which hold up the structure of merriment. Family, gathering, good cheer abounds as the necessity of structure and harmony form the basis of aligned goodness.

Weekly Tarot Card – Four of Wands Reversed

IMG_0509Four is the number of stability and wands is the suit of passion. The picture shows a scene of celebration, perhaps a wedding ceremony or homecoming of sorts. We feel the reversal here points to disharmony. Perhaps it is taking longer for plans that you have put into action to reach a stage of conclusion. Is there some instability in your home life, relationship with loved ones (family members, life partner)? Or perhaps you are suffering from self-doubt and internal disharmony. The task it to get back to balance and alignment. Be creative and think outside the box to address this course to self-alignment with any of the many modalities around–meditation, crystal healing, chakra cleansing, to name but a few. All is well.
