Weekly Tarot Card – The Magician

A magician typically pulls a rabbit out of a hat or makes the pretty lady disappear from the box after exclaiming a few choice syllables and waving a red handkerchief. Everyone oohs and ahhs because these creations appear out of the air…and it’s called magic.

This Magician of the Tarot is enlightened. He uses the elements of the earth, appearing here in the symbols of the Tarot, cup as water, pentacle as earth, sword as air and wand as fire, in order to manifest into physical reality the divine directives sent to him from heaven. His resources are within reach…laid out before him on his designer’s table. He is the human connector of the divine on earth and his form of magic is pure as the white of his tunic and vital as the red of his robe.

The Magician appears this week as Mercury goes direct and we leave the retrograde cycle. We press forward with new insights and revitalized energy, knowing that we have the resources at our fingertips to materialize our dreams onto this earthly realm. Let us align our purpose with the divinity within to create for the benefit of all.

Weekly Tarot Card – Ace of Cups

AceofCupsLove love love is what it’s all about this week. The expression “My cup runneth over” is apt as the dove of peace brings the wafer of forgiveness to the waters of love running over the rim of the golden cup held by the hand of god appearing out of the clouds in a blue blue sky. The water sustains the lilies dotting the surface of the pool of  blue water. To Buddhists the water lily is a symbol of enlightenment, purity, and divine birth. The beautiful bloom emerges from the mud. Peace love and mercy. The spirit of the holidays approaches.

Weekly Tarot Card – The Magician Reversed

IMG_2240Ouch! It’s painful to see the Magician on his head so to speak. If you’re feeling thwarted this week and none of those resources usually at your fingertips are present or coming together to aid you in your creative pursuits, well then perhaps this is how the Magician Reversed plays out. However, even though the cup, pentacle, sword and wand fall from their place on his work-table, the Magician continues to point towards heaven and earth aligning his energy as a connector between the divine and the world. The Magician knows how to use the world to manifest spiritual intentions. We see this connection as everlasting although this week there might be a minor setback in the manifestation flow. Some meditation perhaps is warranted to center oneself and focus on intentions to prepare for the time when manifestation comes more easily. Self-alignment is the key this week. Have a good one!
