Weekly Tarot Card – Page of Cups

How do you feel about surprises, the unexpected? Do you enjoy them? Do you hate them? Are you flexible or resistant? This week prepare for some unusual occurrences…that is, if you pay attention to the message of the Page of Cups.

A young person stands in front of a body of water that appears as rolling waves. Could this be the river of life? They hold a beautiful golden cup in one hand perhaps ready to take a sip when all of the sudden a fish appears. How odd! How strange! How funny!

Sometimes we need an uncanny occurrence to stir things up, catch us unawares and jiggle the status quo of our lives. Can we embrace disruption, be spontaneous and in flow at the same time? This is what we’re learning this week and it’s a good skill to develop in order to navigate life’s ups and downs.

Weekly Tarot Card – The Moon

The Moon

The Moon Card is all about the reveal. It is nighttime and the full moon is reflected in the light of the sun which sheds it’s rays on the wildlife below. A dog and wolf bark at the moon. A crayfish emerges from the waters.

What is to be revealed? Our civil and wild natures as seen in the dog and wolf respectively seek recognition and understanding. It’s as if they are barking, “See me, hear me, feel me” to the golden silvery light above. The crayfish whose thick shell serves as protection from the elements decides to leave its watery home to walk the perilous path on land. It takes courage to face the unknown but the time is right.

Are we to follow suit and face our fears and illusions? Do we have the courage to look into our shadow self, our defenses, whatever is hidden deep within our subconscious. Let what needs to be revealed rise to the surface. Pay attention to dreams and the keys they hold, the messages from our meditations. Seek integration of light and dark as the moon and sun is reflected in our true nature.

Weekly Tarot Card – Page of Wands

Are you like this handsome dandy? All dressed up and no place to go? Although his clothing matches the colors of the arid backdrop, his demeanor seems out of place in this dry desert. Clearly he has other ideas as he gazes at the green leaves sprouting from his walking stick. His cloak of salamanders belies an adventurous spirit lusting for change. He will make the most of what’s ahead of him.

You should too! Now’s the time to move forward on inspirations, ideas, passions. You are meant to seek your fortune with a happy and confident heart.
